You can extend this section to view advanced options for AdChoices and VPAID creativeData test settings.

Viewing Ad Choices

Use the View Ad Choices Icon position during ad playback check box option to mimic the appearance of the AdChoices icon in the video player during the playback of the ad. Note that deploying this option tells the playback to display the Ad Choices icon image for demonstration purposes only, and does not provide a method to op-out of behavioral advertising.

About the Ad Choices Icon

Tremor Video is a participating member of the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) and follows its privacy standards. We license the Ad Choices icon from the DAA to enable online behavioral advertising (OBA) transparency features for our in-stream ad products.

VPAID creativeData

Use the VPAID creativeData option to indicate which node in this VPAID ad tag encapsulates the required creativeData. You can select either the Pass creativeData from the extensions node option or the Pass creativeData from the adParameters node option.

Note that the VPAID creativeData option will not appear in the Advanced Settings section of the validator user interface, unless you do one of the following:

• When you are accessing the validator without a preloaded ad tag, append the ?showCreativeData=true parameter to the end of the URL as follows:
  

  http://tagvalidator.tremorvideo.com/?showCreativeData=true

• When you are accessing the validator with a preloaded ad tag, append the &showCreativeData=true parameter at the end of an ad tag's URL when you initially load it in the browser.
